Shirley Fulton is an icon in the Charlotte community. She has served the community as a lawyer, district court judge, superior court judge, arbitrator, mediator, community builder, mentor, and teacher. She has also served on numerous boards and committees and volunteered in many capacities.
She is the recipient of numerous awards and recognition including “super lawyer” and “judge of the year”. She is the recipient of the Governor’s Long Leaf Pine Award and the North Carolina Supreme Court Justice Award on Professionalism.
